Storms, Chaos, Starlight, and Creation - some of the overlapping images found in the CD "Making Home" by Celesttina Hart. |
| Hart's vocal and piano style is tinged with an emotional presence - born out of her participation in live theater spanning a period of over 30 years. She has written music for original theater and has contributed to nine shows including her own "clown theater" musical "WHERE'S THE NET?" and "An Evening with Hart". If you tune in on subtle levels to this work you are in for a treat - much Grace IS in the offering through this labor of Love, GRACE that is being offered by the unseen realms. "My intention for the CD was to produce material to connect the listener to their own process of grief and of letting go, then to lift and balance the listener through flower essence transmission." Other musicians on the album are Sam Tichenor (bass), Randy Speers (guitar), Lilliana Wright (back up vocals), Gord Propp (sax), Hank Hastings (accordion), Paul Gibbons (bansuri, bongos), Ron Butler (trumpet), Heather Huether (cello), and Miranda Hughes (violin). The album was recorded and mixed in the Kootenays by Steve Graupe at Steve's Barn in New Denver and mastered in Vancouver by Jennifer Lewis at Orca Pacific Studios. Contributors to the beautiful cardboard cover are Judy Wapp (collage), Fred Rosenberg and Patrizia Menton (photography). The album cover was masterfully put together by Vancouver based Xaliman . Trusting in her wings, Hart has made a great leap with this album. "MAKING HOME" is an offering of a soul's journey, ready for a more authentic and abundant life. |
